Atlantic Immigration Program
The Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) is established by the Canadian federal government in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador. It is one of the quickest Canadian immigration program launched in the four Atlantic provinces. AIP is one of the employer-sponsored immigration categories. The original pilot project was turned into a permanent official Canadian immigration program in early 2022.
Among the four Atlantic provinces, Nova Scotia has the most employer resources, and most people live in Halifax, which is the most prosperous city in the province. The advantage of this city is its climate. It is located on the east coast of Canada, where the warm Atlantic current prevails, so it is the second warmest city in Canada after Vancouver. Most of our clients choose to live in Halifax.
